Dr. Andrea Szebeni is a Registered Dietitian and Health Psychologist that has developed several successful eating disorder programs working as a private consultant across the country. Andrea obtained her Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Florida International University and her Doctorate of Psychology in Health Psychology from The University of Arizona. She established the basis of Coastal Nutrition over a decade ago with the purpose to provide nutritional support for athletes and other individuals striving striving for a healthy relationship with food in the most effective and healthy manner. She has worked with Olympic and professional athletes with and without eating disorders to create appropriate meal plans to assure fueling the body and mind in the most optimal way.
The business philosophy of Coastal Nutrition aims for the purpose to provide nutritional support for individuals and private facilities in the South Florida and Cape Cod, Massachusetts area. Today, Coastal Nutrition was specifically developed to provide specialized nutrition support for adolescents, women and men that may struggle with an eating disorder, disordered eating, as well as, high school, college, and professional athletes in the Cape Cod Massachusetts area, and South Florida area. Unfortunately, effective nutrition support is difficult to come by, however Dr Szebeni has developed a one of a kind nutrition that has built the business to multiple locations.
Attaining to change one's internal dialogue is an intricate component to learning to change those false and unhealthy thoughts related to food and eating. Mindfulness is another component we support to allow oneself in trusting their decisions on knowing how to properly have the appropriate amount of nutritional needs to be at their best.
