Contacting your insurance company about nutrition counseling can be confusing. Coastal Nutrition created a guide that walks you through checking and setting up your coverage for medical nutrition therapy, step by step.
Whether you use insurance or pay out of pocket, the goal is to make nutrition counseling accessible to you. Coastal Nutrition is credentialed with most major insurance providers and can bill them directly, but cannot guarantee coverage.
Please check your benefits with your insurance provider before you schedule. You are responsible for any balance not covered by insurance, and all services must be paid in full before your visit.

Telehealth services are available in the states below. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, Coastal Nutrition can give you a superbill to submit for reimbursement. In that case, you pay for your visit in full and your insurance provider reimburses you directly. Please check your benefits before you schedule, and reach out if you need help.
